Dear Alumni/ae,

The Academy is in trouble, and we need your help.

Please go to “Our Principal Concerns” at this blog site and read the “Open Letter to the Board of Trustees of Albuquerque Academy, January 30, 2018.” It’s written by a group of concerned Academy parents, led by Peter Hibbett.

Take a few minutes to look carefully at the graph after page 2, and all the tables. They will show you instantly how badly the trustees have mismanaged the Academy.

Then, please go to “Forums,” click on “Board governance,” and then click on “Shocking response from the Chair of Trustees, 1/31/18.” Read Academy Board Chair Adam Honegger’s response to Mr. Hibbett’s letter.

Then read your fellow AA alumni’s critique of Mr. Honegger’s letter. It will make you very proud.

Then PLEASE take action: go to “Forums,” find a topic you like, and make a comment. Or start a topic of your own.

We invite you to consider sending two powerful messages:

1. The trustees have a duty to answer Mr. Hibbett’s questions.
2. You will withhold all support, financial and otherwise, until they do so.

Our blog statistics show that the worldwide Academy community is engaged and concerned. We now need to translate that concern into action.

As alumni/ae, you have a powerful voice. So please, speak up!
